   This module introduces employees to the importance of taking a role in watching their own departmental overhead costs. These costs cross lines in products offered, how material are handled or in facilities decisions. This course impresses upon the student to plan for sustainability references that also may involve and encompass company's sales and resources or gross sales or output.

 Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to:
◦Explain how hidden costs can hinder a company's environmental and financial goals.
◦Discuss the terms associated with environmental costs and benefits.
◦Explain environmental costs and benefits.

   This module introduces employees to the importance of taking a role in the opportunity to improve their financial and environmental performance by addressing environmental costs. The plan can be supported by their quest to successfully initiate and implement more environmental awareness in daily activity. Current business practices in all departments can actually customize this approach to best suit their own departmental needs and the culture within each organization.

Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to:
◦Explain how each department can monitor their own environmental procedures and goals.
◦Explain the four steps in the decision-making framework.

  This module introduces employees in the company by example on steps to improve its waste and materials management processes and strategies through a more environmental mindset for transparency. Procedural changes can enable a company to reduce the number of hazardous materials purchased, decrease the quantity of waste and lower the costs of buying, storing, using, and disposal of waste at its facilities.

Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to:
◦Explain how each department can monitor their own environmental procedures and material management.
◦Discuss a materials management success story.
