Course Description

Inspiring Engagement in Sustainability – insights on the psychology of engagement & culture change

Getting your employees really engaged in your sustainability initiatives can be difficult if you don't use the right approach.  Low or no budgets, minimal time allocations and competing priorities leave Sustainability Team Members tired, disheartened and imped culture change.  Join this Workshop and gain powerful insights on how to drive a culture of sustainability throughout your organization.

Understand how Worldviews Impact Employee Engagement

Employee engagement can be the key to the long term success of your sustainability and social responsibility initiatives. Broadly, it can also predict organizational success, financial performance and employee outcomes such as retention and attraction.   Research shows a "systems" approach to employee engagement for sustainability can be RefrigeratorRetiremenpowerfully successful. When we connect with the Whole "thinking, feeling, willing, social self" - employees throughout the organization respond in surprising ways.

"The program provided a great balance of important ideas and practical approaches to applying them. I valued the access to content from Thought Leaders in this space and the practical guidance from Kathryn Cooper and the Sustainability Learning Centre for applying them."

Wendy Lomicka, Sustainability & Citizenship Leader, Nova Chem.
